A “Thanksgiving Self Compassion Break” workshop is a wonderful and much needed resource for people during the holiday season. This workshop offers a structured and supportive environment for individuals to explore their feelings, values, and self-compassion during the holiday season, ultimately helping them shift from overwhelm to a more balanced and compassionate perspective.
WHAT DO PARTICPANTS LEARN?
How to embrace emotion and acknowledge the various emotions that arise during the holiday season, such as excitement, joy, dread, and tiredness without judgment.
How to focus on the present moment.
How to recognize your own needs during this potentially stressful time and prioritize self-care, whether it’s rest, fresh air, or setting boundaries. Give yourself permission to be imperfect and human.
How to let go of attachments and understand that many of the worries and anxieties surrounding the holidays are just thoughts.
How to allowing Thanksgiving to happen by planning where necessary and letting go of unnecessary stressors.
How to focus on what you value most during this time of year and allow those aspects to bring you joy and fulfillment.

Where: Online Zoom platform
What to bring: please bring a pen and journal and wear comfortable clothing that you can relax in.
