Mindful Self-Compassion: Embracing Yourself with Love and Compassion during Stressful Times

Are you stressed, overwhelmed, burned out? You’re not alone. This research-backed workshop will take on an 8-week adventure to identify and develop your innate resource of self-compassion in order to enhance your capacity for emotional well-being. Most of us feel deep compassion for our close friends when they are struggling but how about yourself? What would it be like to receive the same caring attention from yourself, when you need it the most? Mindful Self-Compassion involves the capacity to comfort and soothe ourselves, and to motivate ourselves with encouragement when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate.

WHAT IS MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION?
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported 8-week training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff, PhD, and Christopher Germer, PhD, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.
